Honestly,
I have no idea what the hell I am doing here.
So I was reading through Carrie Brownstein's blog and she was talking about the hickey on her Valentine's day entry which made me think of a couple of questions.
I wonder who actually gave the very first hickey?
Do you think there is documentation of the very first hickey?
I'm not big on giving hickeys but I wouldn't mind giving Carrie a hickey...
wait... oops... what?
Mmmm....
So I'm not very big on remixes. But this was done tastefully well. Nina Simone rocks! And this is a nice tribute to that. The CD also includes an insert informing listeners that if you liked this CD, you should get the originals. Which is nice to remind the listeners that the remixes are good, but the original is much better.
On a different note.... I'm going to Eff'n Washington! Staying in Seattle specifically, but definately seeing more of Washington than that.
I'm very excited! I've always wanted to go.
I fell in love with their music scene.
KEXP is awesome.
Ok, so I couldn't sleep, which usually I am sleeping. There is a reason but I don't want to get into why.
Now, to change the subject...
I am really here to speak about putting a face to the etsy shop. Originally I was VERY against it.
why?
I think because of privacy, females being more victims of creepiness, etc etc.
But I decided to do it.
Who gives a fuck, right?
*Sorry for the language, I'm not happy being up late (and yes I am lame and 11:38PM is late to me).
I think there is something endearing about being able to put a face to the store. There are parts of me that make me worried that things might be said negatively about me (ugly, Asian, stupid, etc).
But rest assured, its probably not anything new to me.
I've been called many negative things.
Some by very close people.
Does it help that I have absolutely NO Asian accent?
(No I am not adopted).
MMmmmm... am I going too far in indulging into my life?
Maybe I should try to sleep again.
I don't think its a good idea to write blogs when I am in this state of frustration.
Good night.
So I created a new shirt that I will have up on Etsy very shortly.
I'm not entirely sure what exactly to call it. Hunter Rising or Hunter S. Christ.
I love Hunter Thompson.
Maybe some of his debauchery was a little too much, but it was delightfully entertaining to read about.
See, my workspace also works as my dinning room table. Actually it is my dinning table. So I have to keep at least the other half of the table clean and without my stuff cluttering it up so I can eat on it. I guess some people can say that I don't necessarily HAVE to use my table to eat on, but I like to.
Anyway, I should post my new shirt on etsy.
Signing off....
So i probably will not write much in here.
Let alone have enough to think about to put anything in here.
But I am going to do it anyway.
Originally I was just going to use my myspace to write blogs but I decided to write them in here...... I don't know why...
mmm... I need photos.
