I have the beginning stages of bronchitis.

But I still enjoyed Mythbusters.

My friend is gone to Smith.

She cried and got sick.

Poor girl.

I told her she would be the most popular kid in school.

I can't wait to go and visit her up in northampton all the time.

I like it up there and I like her.

She's practically my best friend.

But I don't like labeling people as my best friend.

Besides, I think I piss people off, including my friends, too much to have a best friend.

I tend to just say things without really thinking.... until after... and then I realize it might be rude... but I don't apologize.

Sorry.

I don't try to be mean. But I think my Korean coldness (emotion wise) comes out from time to time.

 

I got on the bus today and saw a woman listening to the top gun soundtrack.

Tom Cruise annoys me greatly.

I think its because he has too much of an ego.

Busy weekend.

A lot of work was done between the back yard area (I live in a condo) and artwork I have done. Also, there was a going away partySaturday I threw for my friend leaving for Smith College tomorrow. It was fun. People didn't leave until 3am, which made me tired on Sunday.

But its ok. I talked about art with my friends and I learned about a lot of cool artists.

This video blew me away! Even if you are not a big fan of graffiti artists or whatever, this is still simply incredible.

AMAZING, no?!

Anyway, here's my stuff, which simply isn't as cool as the artwork I saw on Saturday. But I'll show it to you anyway.

 

 

 

I'm into this whole bleeding paint thing.

So lately I have been listening to Yael Naim.

You may know her from the macbook air commercial (its her song).

 

 

 

I thought that was a cute song, but usually I don't always pursue a musician from a commercial.

I then heard her again with Readymade FC. yet again another cute song.

 

Its also a cute video.

So I looked into her a little bit.

I found out that she is jewish and french. And she sings some of her songs in hebrew.

I was curious, so I checked it out.

 

Its not a video, but just her song. Its all in Hebrew with a little bit of French stuck in there.

I never thought of Hebrew to be a flowing, graceful language. I usually think of the religious factor of the language.

Then I thought, is it Hebrew or Yiddish she speaks.

I clarified and its Hebrew. And yes there is a difference.

Hebrew is the ancient semitic (religious) language. Yiddish is germanic and written though the Hebrew alphabet. 

There is more to it with a lot more history.

Anyway, yeah, so her songs are neat and mellow.

I am a sucker for female singers who sing slow melodic mellow songs.

Always have been.

 

 

Soo.... the right side of my abdomen hurts.

Its annoying and it almost feels like its getting worse.

Its making my lower back hurt too.

It feels like cramps but....

Its not that time of the month.

I woke up with the pain this morning.

I hate waking up to pain.

grr.... arg....

 

There are some things that I wanted to do/learn that I hope to accomplish soon.

1. Learn French
2. Get a pen pal
3. Learn sign language
4. Possibly get a pen pal that knows French and english and can teach me some French.

I like getting snail mail.

It makes me feel special.

And helps me forget about all the bills that come in the mail.

My friend is moving up to Northampton, MA for school.

She got into Smith College. She texted me immediately and I called her and she was crying. I was so proud.

She is going to be my pen pal. I decided that I will send her the occasional care package.

If I remember....

I want to learn french because I figured French is a good language since I am going up to Montreal in September. I don't expect to learn French by september, but since it was the first foreign langage that was going to get in my path, I figured I'll learn that one first.

Why sign language? Its always been interesting to me.

I find it fun.

Plus I use my hands a lot already when I talk. I might as well have them doing something more constructive.

I was pretty constructive this weekend.

 

 

Birthday gift I made. She likes pigeons. Or at least finds them highly entertaining.

 

Another birthday gift I made. He likes trees. However, the dripping of the city didn't turn out the way I wanted. Its more like a blob, but that's only because I didn't have much room to work with on it.

The city stencil was the first time I actually used spray paint on a stencil, so there is some major overspray, which I'm also not too happy about

 

I liked the silhouette of the city so much I made one for myself. Only different.

Once again overspray.

YARG! Pins I put up on etsy. 31 more days until the national talk like a pirate day.

The cape was fun.

The weather was nearly perfect.

I wish I had more time.

Although, its very nice to be back home.

The movies tell the truth, there's no place like home.

We should closely resemble our lives to be like the movies.

I now have to spend more time on my etsy shop.

I have some new upcoming ideas that I need to plan out and then possibly make up.

(That is if the ideas end up coming out ok) 

But first, I need to make some birthday gifts.

Either way, I'm busy.
