So there was a stray cat in my neighborhood and I felt bad it was out during the 18 degree highs.
So I let him in.
I brought him to the vet.
He's healthy, about 2 years old, a boy, and all mine.
I named him Ari.
He's a cuddly sweetheart!
Granted I think he wants to go outside.
And I don't want to have an outdoor cat.
Because their lifespan is cut in half.
Wait, where was I going with this?
Oh yeah, I'm a sucker for a sweet animal that are cuddly.
All my pets are cuddly (in their own way).
I like to cuddle.
Anyway, here are some pictures
He has double pawed awesomeness.
I love it because it looks like he has mittens for paws.
I don't need to knit him mittens becuase he already has some.
So, how many cats does it take to be a cat lady?
At least 2 or more than 2?
I made some stuff too!
I like the octopus headphone tote bag.
This octopus has good taste in music.
He told me about some great bands.
DeVotchka is a great band.
They had a couple songs on Little Miss Sunshine.
And if you watch TV, their song How it Ends was on the Gears of War 2 video game commerical.
You might think, "pppsshhaw.. you like them because you heard their song on a video game commerical, you TV watching sell out."
And I would retort, "oh hell no! I liked them before that!"
You would say "sorry" and I would say "you are totally forgiven."
And then we would be best friends.
The End.
So the other day I was at Target.
When I was leaving the automatic doors were not working correctly and only one door (they were double doors) was propped open.
As I try to be nice (but sometimes doesn't always turn out well) I held the door open for a woman coming through with a shopping cart. I figured I'll hold the door open for her so that she isn't trying to squeeze through the one door that is open.
As she passed through the door and I was letting go, I was expecting a "Thank you." A simple gesture really.
Instead I got an "Excuse me" because I was standing in the direction she was trying to go.
What?!
And that's what I said too!
What the crap is that!?
I hold the door and all I get is an excuse me?
Why is being nice such a hard thing to grasp.
When we do a nice thing or a nice gesture gets done to us, why is it so nice that is abnormal?
Its sad to think that being nice is an exception rather than a normal occurance.
To lighten up the mood, here are some autumnal pictures I took.
And, here is a picture of my dog as a puppy.
She's the cutest.
And that's a fact.
I try to not get bored.
I say I'm bored but usually I am not.
I try to do something that I want to do.
I have been itching to take more pictures.
So I have been.
My dog makes a great model and she also equally makes a horrible model.
(Translation: she's adorable to take pictures of but she doesn't stop moving)
