There would be a lot of things I would be addicted to if I had absolutely no self control.
Mind you, I don't have complete control of myself.
I don't.
My self control is just enough to not make things go overboard.
But sometimes it does.
Now I have responsibilities that make me limit my addictions and wants to a minimum.
However, if I had all the time in the world, these would be a few of the following addictions.
- Wii. I would play the wii all the time. I would become the wii master. but then I would have no life and no friends and my dog would be pissed off at me because I would just ignore her.
- Guitar. I use to play the guitar 4 hours a day, everyday. If it wasn't for my sore fingers I would play all day. However, with recent new addictions, I don't play it as much.
- etsy. And this includes everything involving it, including making my shirts, totes, pins and stencils. If etsy pays me a decent amount and provided health insurance, I would be a happy person.
- puzzles. The jigsaw kind. I cannot help but stop when I see an incomplete puzzle. It double dog dares me to try to get at least one puzzle piece in the appropriate place.
- Sudoku. I would try to rule at these just like how Napoleon would try to rule the world. Only I would be prepared for a blistering winter. or maybe I would be soo addicted that i would neglect my heating bill and then winter would defeat me. Damn you cold nights!
- TV. I would love to say I am one of those people who does not have a TV or that I don't watch TV, but I do. I watch it. As a kid, I use to watch it for hours. I have definitely limited that down. However, now I watch quality programming (at least in my mind its quality programming). Mythbusters, Ghost Hunters, How I met your Mother, 30 Rock, The Office (US version), Little Britain, The big Bang Theory, etc. If you don't think any of these shows are "quality programming," then we can be friends but not best friends. Sorry.
- Movies. Goes along with TV, kind of, but I LOVE movies! I would watch movies all the time. They always suck me in, unless they suck. Which is kind of funny. So if movies suck, i'm not sucked in, but if they are good, I'm sucked in. Why does this sound kind of dirty? um... moving on....
- Internet. Growing up, I had a computer but not the internet. It wasn't really around yet at that point. It wasn't until high school that the internet existed. Also it was REALLY new then and EVERYONE had AOL for their internet provider via the modem. Oh the sounds of the modem. I would love to hear that sucker go and have a crawling internet connection. But if things like myspace and facebook were around when I was younger, you bet your ass I would have been on that and other things like wikipedia FOREVER!
- helicopter. The R/C radio control kind. I just got one yesterday and I love it. I crash a lot but I figured if i put in enough flying hours, I would totally master that.
Alas, so many things to be addicted to and not enough time and too many responsibilities.
Damn you growing up-ness.
damn you technology.
damn.
Oh yeah, so I did an SPT.
It covers one of my potential addictions listed above.
550 pieces and 25 marilyns from one of Andy Warhol's art pieces.
I celebrate thanksgiving however I am a vegetarian, so the sides of sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, non-meat stuffing, veggies, etc were my meal (which were fantastic).
my non-turkey day was nice and black friday consisted of me getting things done for etsy. I refused to go out shopping on black friday with the threat of getting mowed down. I'm fragile.
Lets give a moment of silence to the employee at walmart who got squished by the mob of sale crazed people trying to get the best deals.
Seriously.
What the hell is wrong with people.
Anyway, so today is Cyber Monday.
However, I didn't have the time to organize my shop to have any special sales for today.
So I put up a new shirt instead.
Its suppose to be funny.
And not true.
Mythbusters busted this myth.
But I just like saying it.
That means there are no pretty girls, right?
Also, I found out my superman shirt appeared on another blog, and I didn't know.
But I was linked so it wasn't a big deal that I wasn't informed by the person who blogged.

My bat tote was a hit.
Not only did it sell that day (or within 2 days or something) but before it sold, it was listed as one of the Halloween Gift Guides!
YAY!
I have the evidence to prove it!
I was wondering why it got sooo many hits in one day, and its because of the Gift Guide.
YAY!
the excitement.
Well, I'm excited.
You can at least pretend.
Speaking of Excited, I like Le Tigre's version of "I'm so excited."
I sometimes really enjoy the cover of the song MUCH BETTER than the original.
Such as:
Mad World done by Gary Jules
Survive done by Cake
(The bass line in it is sick and I don't use the word sick in this sense so you know I mean business!)
Sea of Love done by Cat Power
So its not that I dislike the original, but its just that I really enjoy these versions a little more.
Don't judge me.
I really have nothing much to say.
I was going to say stuff about the last debate that happened a couple of days ago, but I don't want to now.
There has been enough things said about it that I don't really want to contribute anymore.
Oh I do have something to say....
I live in CT and did you hear a week ago that they lifted the ban on gay marriage and now it is recognized in CT?
I can only think... REALLY?
CT out of ALL PLACES?
I NEVER would have though CT would be 3rd in line.
But yay for civil rights, which people tend to forget.
Its civil rights, not just gay rights.
I wonder how long it will take before the wonderful people in CT will decide they want to try to ban it.
But anyway....
I am having an 8 is GREAT! sale in my shop.
Stuff for $8 because I want to clean out my inventory of stuff.
Things like this:
There are more items. There are 9 items not 8.
But shh.... no one needs to know.
Also, I made a tote bag just in time for Halloween.
Anyone need a trick or treat bag?
Or just a tote bag in general?
Its in my shop.
so I created another blog kind of thing.
Its not quite the same.
I am going to use it mostly to keep track of my favorite websites or interesting ones so I don't have to keep emailing them to myself.
I have too many of them.
I cannot keep track.
Plus tumblr seems more like a sporatic, random thing and that is how my mind works.
